Hebrews 11:1-16 MSG http://bible.com/97/heb.11.1-1 6.MSG
The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It’s our handle on what we can’t see.
The act of faith is what distinguished our ancestors, set them above the crowd.
By faith, we see the world called into existence by God’s word, what we see created by what we don’t see.
By an act of faith, Abel brought a better sacrifice to God than Cain. It was what he believed , not what he brought , that made the difference. That’s what God noticed and approved as righteous.
After all these centuries, that belief continues to catch our notice.
By an act of faith, Enoch skipped death completely. “They looked all over and couldn’t find him because God had taken him.” We know on the basis of reliable testimony that before he was taken “he pleased God.”
It’s impossible to please God apart from faith. And why?
Because anyone who wants to approach God must believe both that he exists and that he cares enough to respond to those who seek him.
By faith, Noah built a ship in the middle of dry land. He was warned about something he couldn’t see, and acted on what he was told. The result? His family was saved.
His act of faith drew a sharp line between the evil of the unbelieving world and the rightness of the believing world.
As a result, Noah became intimate with God. By an act of faith,
Abraham said yes to God’s call to travel to an unknown place that would become his home.
When he left he had no idea where he was going. By an act of faith he lived in the country promised him, lived as a stranger camping in tents. Isaac and Jacob did the same, living under the same promise.
Abraham did it by keeping his eye on an unseen city with real, eternal foundations—the City designed and built by God.
By faith, barren Sarah was able to become pregnant, old woman as she was at the time, because she believed the One who made a promise would do what he said. That’s how it happened that from one man’s dead and shriveled loins there are now people numbering into the millions.
Each one of these people of faith died not yet having in hand what was promised, but still believing. How did they do it? They saw it way off in the distance, waved their greeting, and accepted the fact that they were transients in this world.
People who live this way make it plain that they are looking for their true home. If they were homesick for the old country, they could have gone back any time they wanted.
But they were after a far better country than that— heaven country. You can see why God is so proud of them, and has a City waiting for them.

How many of will remember midway to Church and almost late for service that we forgot to pickup our phone and will not turn back that instant?
How many of us will do the same if it was the Bible?
Do we truly believe the Bible holds the key to the hidden treasures of secret places?
Isaiah 45:1-3 KJV http://bible.com/1/isa.45.1-3. KJV
Thus saith the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut; I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord , which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.
Luke 16:8 KJV http://bible.com/1/luk.16.8.KJ V
And the Lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.
LUK 16:8 AMP http://bible.com/1588/luk.16.8 .AMP And his master commended the unjust manager [not for his misdeeds, but] because he had acted shrewdly [by preparing for his future unemployment]; for the sons of this age [the non-believers] are shrewder in relation to their own kind [that is, to the ways of the secular world] than are the sons of light [the believers].
Luke 16:8-9 MSG http://bible.com/97/luk.16.8-9 .MSG
“Now here’s a surprise: The master praised the crooked manager! And why? Because he knew how to look after himself. Streetwise people are smarter in this regard than law-abiding citizens. They are on constant alert, looking for angles, surviving by their wits. I want you to be smart in the same way—but for what is right —using every adversity to stimulate you to creative survival, to concentrate your attention on the bare essentials, so you’ll live, really live, and not complacently just get by on good behavior.” Luke 16:8-9 MSG http://bible.com/97/luk.16.8-9 .MSG
When The Word of God Locks in
God has always pointed Man toward virtual but tangible realities.
Heb 11:1 from message translation The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It’s our handle on what we can’t see.
When God instructing Abraham, Isaac and Jacob He wanted them to appreciate that the real promise is not PHYSICAL but holds the key any physical acquisition.
God told Isaac to stay at a location where everything looked blink and invest. Can you imagine the ridicule from family, friends, associates and servants? You can imaging a man from a wealthy background but eventually left home with no physical material blessings but some so called intangible Blessing and now at the middle of no where and most likely in his 50ths or 60th.
Genesis 26:2-5, 12-25 MSG http://bible.com/97/gen.26.2-2 5.MSG
God appeared to him and said, “Don’t go down to Egypt; stay where I tell you. Stay here in this land and I’ll be with you and bless you.
I’m giving you and your children all these lands, fulfilling the oath that I swore to your father Abraham.
I’ll make your descendants as many as the stars in the sky and give them all these lands.
All the nations of the Earth will get a blessing for themselves through your descendants.
And why? Because Abraham obeyed my summons and kept my charge—my commands, my guidelines, my teachings.”
Isaac planted crops in that land and took in a huge harvest. God blessed him. The man got richer and richer by the day until he was very wealthy. He accumulated flocks and herds and many, many servants, so much so that the Philistines began to envy him.
They got back at him by throwing dirt and debris into all the wells that his father’s servants had dug back in the days of his father Abraham, clogging up all the wells.
Finally, Abimelech told Isaac: “Leave. You’ve become far too big for us.” So Isaac left. He camped in the valley of Gerar and settled down there. Isaac dug again the wells which were dug in the days of his father Abraham but had been clogged up by the Philistines after Abraham’s death. And he renamed them, using the original names his father had given them. One day, as Isaac’s servants were digging in the valley, they came on a well of spring water. The shepherds of Gerar quarreled with Isaac’s shepherds, claiming, “This water is ours.” So Isaac named the well Esek (Quarrel) because they quarreled over it.
They dug another well and there was a difference over that one also, so he named it Sitnah (Accusation).
He went on from there and dug yet another well. But there was no fighting over this one so he named it Rehoboth (Wide-Open Spaces), saying, “Now God has given us plenty of space to spread out in the land.” From there he went up to Beersheba. That very night God appeared to him and said, I am the God of Abraham your father; don’t fear a thing because I’m with you.
I’ll bless you and make your children flourish because of Abraham my servant. Isaac built an altar there and prayed, calling on God by name. He pitched his tent and his servants started digging another well.
God waited until when Isaac's confession aligned with the promise. Then God spoke again.
A lot of the experiences we can physically appreciate have a parallel with the operations in the Spiritual realm.
For example, before a missile is launched, it is locked in to a target. So once launched except the target is moved away, impact in a definite pursuit.
Even when the target is moving, missile have been developed to pursue moving target until impact except the target is of superior intelligence too.
To beat a missile, you would need a missile to lock in to a launched missile. Every nation of the world is on red alert for any missile launch.
Missile can be diverted away from original target to a more vulnerable location.
Missile can be hijacked or stolen.
Missile can self destruct via remote control or by automation.
Missile can hover and return to a virgin location to self destruct as a warning strategy.
In many ways THE BLESSING FROM GOD locks in to us via Corresponding God's word and power at work within us.
The Question now is-are you locking into God's word or the begarly elements???
We must maintain our Spiritual GPS (our Faith) until the blessing is delivered.
Isaiah 55:11
Whatever happens to THE BLESSING between release and receipt in TOTALLY our Prerogative. Remember Esau's blessing was diverted to a more vulnerable Jacob.
Once the Spiritual GPS is maintained, the blessing will continue to lock in and deliver.
When you power down or become Spiritually discharged (prayerlessness) which implies Failed Faith, the blessing may hover,be stolen, be diverted or be given to someone else.
Until Jacob became Israel, The blessing hovered on him. Until Abram became Abraham The blessing hovered.
God had already released us into the blessing as part of the benefit of Salvation but it will hover until locked in and will deliver when we maintain our faith stand point steadfastly, prayerfully and thankfully.
We must pray and maintain Faith position by locking into the corresponding promise in the scriptures until the desired is our reality.
